Hi I’m Taylor Black, and I’m here in the Amazon with Hunter Aikman and Angela Smith for a trip to study plants and animals. Our good friend Anne Williams at home. She is a professor. Let me show you what a great time I had here.

Day 1.     Today we unpacked all of our equipment. Even though our campsite is horrible out view is wonderful. I will be camping out here with Hunter the hunter and Angela who loves and studies animals. We didn’t get to explore today. Hopefully tomorrow we will finish unpacking and get to explore. Well I have to go to bed bye!

Day7. Today we went out to discover some new plants and animals. When Hunter tried to take an ape home to eat it but Angela tripped him so he fell and shot the ground! After we found some food that is ok to eat it started to rain, I grabbed some big leaves to use as umbrellas. As we walked home under our umbrellas I saw a giant Kapok Tree with a Strangler Fig on it. When we arrived at camp we found a monkey playing  with all of our pots and pans. Angela discovered it's baby was stuck in a pot. The baby was very ill so we decided we would keep it and nurse it back to health.

Day8. Today me and Angela went out to find a cure for the monkey. We tried many kinds of trees including a Bougainville, a Curare, a Redwood, a Kapok, ButressRoot and many more. It's really late so I'll write later.

Day17. Our journal is filling up very quickly so I can't write many more entries. Sadly we have to go soon. Last week we went to a deep part of the woods, it was beautiful! There was a waterfall so we went back to camp got our bathing suits on and went swimming, There were all kinds of plants and animals in the water. Hunter has started to learn the goodness of animals.

Day 32. Today we left. Right now I'm on my private jet going back to New York City. I had a great time. Even though I don't live near Hunter and Angela we decided we will still keep in touch. My flight's landing I have to go seeya!
